BY CAR
From the East: take the A27 Venice-Belluno motorway and continue to the Belluno exit. From the West: take the A31 Valdastico motorway and continue to the Piovene Rocchette exit. Upon reaching Belluno or Piovene Rocchette, follow the signs for Feltre and then for Sospirolo, which is about 20 km from Feltre.
BY BUS
Dolomiti Bus line 023: connects Belluno to Sospirolo. Dolomiti Bus line 024: connects Feltre to Sospirolo. ACTV line 101: connects Treviso to Belluno.
BY TRAIN
Belluno station: about 25 km south of Sospirolo, it connects Belluno to other cities in the Veneto region and some cities in Northern Italy, such as Milan and Bologna.
Feltre station: about 35 km north of Sospirolo, it connects Feltre to other cities in the Veneto region and some cities in Northern Italy, such as Trento and Venice. From the Belluno or Feltre railway station, continue by bus or taxi.
WHAT TO DO: SURROUNDINGS
SOSPIROLO municipality located near the fabulous Valle del Mis, on the slopes of Monte Sperone. The Valle del Mis represents one of the main accesses to the Belluno Dolomites Park and is outlined by the stream and the artificial lake of the same name on one side and by the Monti del Sole, which divide it from the Agordina area, from the other. It offers numerous excursions for nature lovers, among the many the itinerary that leads to the Cadini del Brentòn stands out, a marvel of 15 cavities dug by the tributary stream of the Mis along the its path full of waterfalls: the colors are unsurpassed. The town is also known for the Certosa di Vedana which is not far away.
BELLUNO the shining city, much loved by the writer Dino Buzzati, who praised it on numerous occasions, stands on a promontory at the confluence of the Piave and the Ardo torrent, bordered by the Dolomites to the north and the Venetian Pre-Alps to the south , which frame the city center full of corners of history. It is a calm and serene city on a human scale, well away from the chaos of the larger centres.
SEDICO populous municipality located on the right bank of the Piave river, at the outlet of the Cordevole Valley, inserted in the territory of the Belluno Dolomites National Park and surrounded by the Schiara Group and the Monti del Sole, on which excursions and mountain bike itineraries. To see, the Castelliere di Noal, the numerous manor houses, the ancient church of San Nicolò in Bribano and the Carnival. In Sedico it is possible to combine excursions and culture, thanks to the presence of paths that lead to the discovery of the numerous hamlets or the small treasures of which it is rich: the villas Villa Manzoni in Patt, Villa Rudio, Villa Miari, Villa Bentivoglio and Villa Giacomini – Miari, Villa Crotta and Villa Zuppani.
